JACKSONVILLE – The focus returned to the offensive line late Saturday.
It returned there in versatile fashion.
Jonah Monheim, a center from the University of Southern California, on Saturday was selected by the Jaguars No. 221 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft – the fifth selection of Round 7.
Monheim, who played five seasons at Southern Cal, appeared in 52 career games with 46 starts – 18 at right tackle, 12 at left tackle, 12 at center and four right guard.
Monheim became the eighth player from Southern California selected by the Jaguars in the NFL Draft, the first since defensive lineman Jay Tufele (Round 4) in 2021.
The Jaguars on Thursday selected: Colorado wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter No. 2 overall (Round 1).
The Jaguars on Friday selected: Tulane defensive back Caleb Ransaw No. 88 overall (Round 3) and West Virginia offensive lineman Wyatt Milum No. 89 overall (Round 3). They did not have a second-round selection, having traded that to the Cleveland Browns as part of a deal to move up to No. 2 from No. 5 overall to select Hunter.
The Jaguars on Saturday selected: Virginia Tech running back Bhayshul Tuten (No. 104 overall, Round 4) and Notre Dame linebacker Jack Kiser (No. 107 overall, Round 4) Auburn linebacker Jalen McLeod (No. 194 overall, Round 6) and Navy safety Rayuan Lane III (No. 200 overall, Round 6).
The Jaguars have one selection remaining in the '25 draft: No. 236 overall (Round 7).
