JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars went big Friday.
They got offensive, too.
Wyatt Milum, an offensive guard from the West Virginia University, on Friday night was selected by the Jaguars No. 89 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft – the 25th selection of Round 3.
Milum was acquired with a selection acquired in a trade with the Houston Texans. The Jaguars acquired Selections No. 89 and No. 236 and gave up Selections Nos. 102 and 142.
The selection of Milum came after the Jaguars executed a trade earlier in Round 3: The Nos. 70 (Round 3) and 182 (Round 4) selections in the '25 draft and a 2026 sixth-round selection to Detroit Lions for the No.102 (Round 3) selection in '25, a "compensation" third-round selection in '26 and a "regular" '26 third-round selection.
Milum (6-feet-6, 313 pounds), who played four seasons at West Virginia, was a consensus All-America selection in 2024. He also was the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2024 after being a second-team All-Big 12 selection in 2023.
Milum became the fourth player from West Virginia selected by the Jaguars in the NFL Draft, the first since defensive end Kevin Landolt (Round 4) in 1999.
The Jaguars on Thursday selected Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter No. 2 overall (Round 1). They did not have a second-round selection, having traded that to the Cleveland Browns as part of a deal to move up to No. 2 from No. 5 overall to select Hunter. They selected Tulane cornerback Caleb Ransaw with the No. 88 overall selection.
The Jaguars hold six more selections in the '25 draft:
- No. 104 (Round 4)
- No. 107 overall (Round 4)
- No. 194 overall (Round 6)
- No. 200 (Round 6)
- No. 221 overall (Round 7)
- No. 236 (Round 7)
