In another ground-breaking first for the NFL, the Jacksonville Jaguars will play back-to-back games in the U.K. in 2024 marking the team's 12th and 13th regular season games in London, and an historic 10th game at Wembley stadium.
Starting on Sunday, Oct. 13, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Chicago Bears will play the Jaguars in what promises to be a thrilling encounter following which, the Jaguars focus shifts to Wembley Stadium, the team's home away from home, as they take on the Patriots on Sunday, Oct. 20.
There have been many successes since the Jaguars embarked on the UK and London journey in 2013, from operating a business from the UK 365 days of the year and developing and continually growing the loyal fanbase, the Jaguars also became the first team in NFL history to make a pick live on air in Ireland, during the 2024 NFL Draft coverage.
The Union Jax Foundation have expanded and deliver more programs that matter across the UK and now the Jaguars community team is working with partners in Ireland to deliver JagTag, alongside specialist clinics in association with American Football Ireland. The Jaguars ambitions for success and longevity continue.
With more time in the UK again this year, it will allow the Jaguars to have a greater presence over a longer period, which is exciting news for the UK fan base! Last year members of the team were able to participate in fan signing events, school visits and community activity and whilst our plans for this year are still in development, we are committed to making it bigger and better.
Jaguars Owner Shahid Khan said:
'We've worked hard over the past decade-plus to establish the Jacksonville Jaguars as the home team for NFL fans in London, the United Kingdom and now Ireland. Playing back-to-back games in London for the second consecutive year speaks to that commitment. We're going to make the most of it, especially in the days ahead of our traditional home game at Wembley Stadium vs. Patriots on October 20.
