Josh Scobee named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the sixth time in his career after tying an NFL record with three field goals of 50-plus yards to lead the Jaguars to a 12-7 win over Baltimore on Monday Night Football.

Scobee finished four of four on field goals (54, 54, 22, 51) and scored all 12 of the club's points.  He became the sixth kicker in NFL history with three field goals of 50-plus yards in a single game.

For the second consecutive season, Scobee has connected on his first 14 field goal attempts.  Of his 14 field goals through seven games, nine are from 40-plus yards, which leads the NFL, including five of five from 50-plus yards (55, 53, 54, 54, 51).

Scobee is in his eighth season as the team's placekicker and has connected on 158 of 201 field goals (78.6 pct.) including 18 of 28 (64.3 pct.) from 50-plus yards.
