JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed K Josh Lambo (hip) on the reserve/injured list and released S Doug Middleton, the club announced today. This marks Lambo's second time on the reserve/injured list this season, so he is not eligible to return in 2020. The Jaguars also signed OL Garrett McGhin and K Aldrick Rosas to the practice squad.
McGhin, 6-6, 300, spent part of training camp in 2020 with the Jaguars. He was originally signed by Buffalo as a rookie free agent on May 13, 2019 and spent the 2019 training camp and preseason the Bills. He was signed to the Panthers practice squad on Nov. 12, 2019 and played in two games with Carolina before being placed on injured reserve on Dec. 19, 2019. He signed with Buffalo for a second stint in the 2020 offseason prior to being waived on July 27, 2020. A native of Tallahassee, Fla., McGhin played 48 career games at East Carolina University.
Rosas, who is in his fourth season in the NFL, kicked for the Jaguars in Week 4 at Cincinnati, connecting on 4-of-5 FGs, including a 50-yarder. He previously kicked for the New York Giants from 2017-19 and has made 66 of 80 career FGs (82.5 pct.) and 87 of 95 career PATs (91.6 pct.). He was named to the Pro Bowl for his performance during the 2018 season after converting 32 of 33 FGs (97.0 pct.). Rosas originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Titans in 2016 after kicking collegiately at Southern Oregon. Rosas will appear on the Jaguars' practice squad suspended list and will remain on the list through Nov. 22.
