Monday was an off day for us. Coach gave us the day off. It was good to be home, relaxing, knowing we had a victory. You could walk around with your chest out a little bit. I just stayed at the house on Monday, relaxing from some of the big shots I took in the game. On Monday night we had a big crowd out at the show. It just goes to show that if you win around here the fans will be behind you. It was just good to get back on the winning track. Nothing on Monday or Tuesday could make we sad because we had a big victory.

I had an extra day to relax and I just ran some errands. I was just trying to recover from the game. Tuesday is a good day for me to get a massage and, later in the day when my little girl got home, she wanted to ride her bike, so daddy had to get out there and ride the bike with her. That was my exercise for the day. Most of the time I just like to get away: Get a massage and push the soreness out of my body. On my days off in the community I'm always in a professional mode. The people in Jacksonville are pretty nice when I'm out with family, but some fans just can't help themselves. I'll just sign the autographs, say hello and keep on going.

Coming in on Wednesday was great; getting back to work. I just wanted to put two good weeks of practice together. You earn your wins on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We were just out on Wednesday trying to work hard for another win. We had that winning feeling back and we knew we had to work hard this week to keep it going.

Pittsburgh was playing with a little more intensity and speed. I think they got into a comfort level and it seems like whatever they did was right. Looking at them on film, even if someone made a mistake it wouldn't hurt them because they were flying around to the ball. They were leading the division and playing them for the last time in the division was big, but we were just looking for another win. The guys knew this was going to be a tough, physical game and that's what we were preparing for.

Friday was a very good day. I think we felt confident in what we had in the game plan. It was good to see Mark out there on Friday, since he didn't practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Mark and Jonathan were out there throwing and I think we were ready to go up to Pittsburgh and get a win. Jonathan was taking the snaps and Mark was a game-time decision, but it's our job as receivers to catch the ball; I don't care if it's my mother at quarterback, my little girl or whoever. I need to catch the ball.

I just relaxed once again on another road trip. I didn't hit Kaufmann's or Sach's, like I usually do. Pittsburgh is one of the cities I go shopping in. You see a lot of different styles and stores when you go to other cities and that is a plus to going on road trips.

Our defense played a great game on Sunday. They played well enough for us to win. On our side of the ball we did not play up to our capabilities. As a team we are trying to find a way for all three phases to play together. It's just frustrating when one phase plays well or two phases play well and one doesn't. You can't win like that. You have to have all three phases playing together to win. I saw that fourth quarter as a game that was there for the taking. We have to seize the opportunity when we have it. I think the Steelers defense seized the opportunity when they had to. I don't think we capitalized on our opportunities. Here in the NFL, you have to take advantage of every little break that you have and I just don't think we did that on offense.
