JACKSONVILLE – The reasoning is simple, clear and open.
This is a new Jaguars era – and as Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tony Boselli sees it, there's no reason those running the franchise should hide much about the organization from its fans.
Transparency is an organizational philosophy because why shouldn't it be?
"If we can connect with our fans, and give them a little taste of what's going on, and give them some insight to feel like they're more connected to us … that's really important to me," Boselli said.
"It's important to the whole organization."
Boselli, named EVP in early February, recently joined senior writer John Oehser for this second version of the EVPodcast. He covered multiple topics, including working with Head Coach Liam Coen and General Manager James Gladstone as the trio of decision-makers reshapes the organization.
"What I've loved about the job – and you don't know until you actually do it – is working with James and Liam," Boselli said of Coen and Gladstone, who were hired in their positions in late January and later February, respectively. "You don't really know how it's going to go until you do it.
"That has been my favorite part about the job."

The Jaguars since the trio's hirings have executed a free-agency period in which they signed 10 unrestricted free agents while preparing for the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. The '25 offseason workout program began at the Miller Electric Center last week.
Throughout this busy offseason, the trio has allowed Jaguars Media – and therefore Jaguars fans – unprecedented behind-the-scenes access. The result of that access can be seen in the offseason's first episode of The Hunt as well as multiple podcasts featuring front-office staff and coaches.
"What's exciting is we have a head coach in Liam and a general manager in James who get it," Boselli said. "They understand it. They said, 'Hey, let's connect with our fans. Let's give them a little look at what we're doing.' It makes it easier for us to do that because we have great people in the organization.
"The Jaguars have a great team that put The Hunt together, this podcast. There's a trust that as an organization, everyone in it is marching in the same direction.
"They're trying to accomplish the same goals."
