JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed former Pro Bowl and All-Pro WR Pharoh Cooper, the team announced today. WR Terry Godwin has been placed on the injured reserve list.
Cooper, 5-11, 208, enters his sixth season in the NFL after being initially drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 2016 draft. His career totals include 62 games played – 31 with the Rams (2016-18), 14 with the Cardinals (2018-19), one with the Bengals (2019) and 16 with Carolina (2020). During his professional career, Cooper has totaled 55 receptions for 506 yards and one TD, 82 punt returns for 729 yards and 104 kickoff returns for 2,523 yards and one TD. Cooper will wear No. 14 for the Jaguars.
The Havelock, N.C. native attended South Carolina and was a wide receiver and returner and earned All-SEC honors in 2014 and 2015.
