JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars have signed another draft selection.
Luke Farrell, a tight end selected by the Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, signed his rookie contract Wednesday afternoon. He became the third of the Jaguars' 2021 draft selections to sign with the team.
Farrell, who played at Ohio State, was the No. 145 overall selection.
Farrell (6-feet-5, 258 pounds), a four-time Big 10 All-Academic selection, caught 34 career passes for the Buckeyes for 380 yards and four touchdowns. He started 32 of 44 games played.
The Jaguars currently have six '21 draft selections unsigned: Quarterback Trevor Lawrence (Round 1, No. 1 overall, Clemson), running back Travis Etienne Jr. (Round 1, No. 25, Clemson), cornerback Tyson Campbell (Round 2, No. 33 overall, Georgia), offensive tackle Walker Little (Round 2, No. 45 overall, Stanford), safety Andre Cisco (Round 3, No. 65 overall) and defensive tackle Jay Tufele (Round 4, No. 106 overall, Southern California).
The Jaguars signed wide receiver Jalen Camp (Round 6, No. 209, Georgia Tech) on Monday and defensive end Jordan Smith (Round 4, No. 121, Alabama-Birmingham) on Tuesday.
