JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars' rookie to-do list is almost complete.
Running back Travis Etienne Jr., the second of the Jaguars' two first-round selections in the 2021 NFL Draft, signed his rookie contract Monday morning. He became the seventh of the Jaguars' '21 draft selections to sign with the team.
The Jaguars signed quarterback Trevor Lawrence, Etienne's teammate at Clemson University and the No. 1 overall selection in the '21 draft, to his rookie contract on July 5.
Etienne, a two-time consensus All-America selection and a three-time first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection, rushed for 4,952 yards and 70 touchdowns on 686 career carries in four seasons at Clemson. He caught 102 career passes for 1,155 yards and eight touchdowns, and he was the ACC Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019.
He is the career rushing yards leader in the ACC, and holds career ACC records for touchdowns rushing, touchdowns scored (78), all-time yards from scrimmage (6,107). He holds the NCAA record for all-time career games with a touchdown with 46.
The Jaguars currently have two '21 draft selections unsigned: Cornerback Tyson Campbell (Round 2, No. 33 overall, Georgia) and offensive tackle Walker Little (Round 2, No. 45 overall, Stanford).
The Jaguars also have signed wide receiver Jalen Camp (Round 6, No. 209, Georgia Tech), defensive end Jordan Smith (Round 4, No. 121, Alabama-Birmingham), tight end Luke Farrell (Round 5, No. 145, Ohio State), safety Andre Cisco (Round 3, No. 65, Syracuse), defensive tackle Jay Tufele (Round 4, No. 106, Southern California).
