PHOENIX – One of the first news items from the 2015 NFL Annual Meetings involved a significant digital first.
It also very much involved the Jaguars.
The Jaguars' Week 7 game next season against the Buffalo Bills at Wembley Stadium in London, England, will be distributed over a digital platform that will be available worldwide, the NFL announced Monday during the league's annual meetings at the Biltmore in Phoenix.
The game, which is scheduled to be played at 9:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, October 25, will also be broadcast on free, over-the-air television channels in Buffalo and Jacksonville, the league announced.
The game will mark the first time the NFL plans to use a distributor other than a television network for a national game.
