Tyson Alualu is one of 32 defensive tackles selected in the first round of the NFL draft in the past 10 years (2002-11). Alualu, the 10th overall pick in 2010, is one of only four tackles to start all 32 games in the first two seasons, joining Dewayne Robertson (2003), Tommie Harris (2004) and Haloti Ngata (2006).
Alualu was one of four defensive tackles selected in the first round of the 2010 draft, joining Ndamukong Suh, Gerald McCoy and Dan Williams. He was the fourth defensive tackle drafted in the first round by the Jaguars in franchise history and first since John Henderson in 2002.
Only two tackles selected in the first round the last 10 years have produced double-digit sacks in their first two seasons, Suh and Henderson, and Alualu's six sacks are the seventh-most among the group in the first two seasons.
