The latest news on this front is that the Jaguars as of Tuesday morning have requested interviews with eight candidates:

• Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady
• Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen
• Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn
• Las Vegas Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham
• Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson
• Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken
• Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore
• Former New York Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh

The Jaguars on Monday, January 6, dismissed Doug Pederson, the team's head coach from 2022-2024, with Owner Shad Khan saying later that day the search for a new head coach already had begun and adding, "I am energized by what is possible with all we have to offer our new head coach."

Added General Manager Trent Baalke, "We're going to do our due diligence and be very thorough in this process."

JOE BRADY

He worked as the Bills' quarterbacks coach from 2022-2023 and as interim offensive coordinator in 2023. The Bills' offense ranked second in points and 10th in yards during the 2024 season.

AARON GLENN

He served as the Saints' defensive backs coach from 2016 to 2020. The Lions' defense ranked seventh in points and 20th in total yards in 2024.
