JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed fourth-year DT Daniel Ross, the club announced today.
Ross' career totals include 27 tackles, 2.0 sacks and two fumble recoveries, spending time with the Cowboys (2017-18), Las Vegas Raiders (2019-20) and Jaguars (2020). In 2020, he played in five games (three with Jacksonville, two with Las Vegas) and recorded eight tackles, including one tackle for loss.
He initially signed as an undrafted free agent in 2017 with the Texans and spent his rookie season on the practice squads in Houston, Detroit, Kansas City and Dallas. He was activated and played in three games in 2017 and 13 games in 2018, both with the Cowboys, and tallied 19 tackles, including 2.0 sacks. Ross began his pro career in the CFL in 2014 with the Edmonton Eskimos.
Ross attended Northeast Mississippi Community College and is originally from Louisville, Ky.
