JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– The Jacksonville Jaguars today introduced a new program designed to take fans on a behind-the-scenes tour of EverBank Field, a destination recently named by the Travel Channel as one of "15 Bucket List Experiences for Football Fans."
"It was no surprise to us that EverBank Field was recognized as a must-see for football fans, as we pride ourselves in creating a world-class experience here on game day," said Jaguars President Mark Lamping. "Our new tour program gives fans and visitors to Jacksonville another way to explore the stadium, learn its history and hear the stories of great plays and special moments that have taken place at EverBank Field."
During the regular season, tours will be available on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, as well as Sundays in the offseason. Tours will last approximately one hour and 15 minutes, and fans and visitors will have the chance to see the game field, US Assure Club, owner's suite, press box, Lycamobile South End Market, FanDuelVille and other behind-the-scenes areas, unless those areas are being utilized by a private event. Tickets, general guidelines and a detailed tour schedule are available at www.jaguars.com/tours. Discounted entry is available for children, military members and first responders.
As an added benefit, tour guests will have the chance to purchase Jaguars merchandise at the conclusion of each tour. Fanatics will offer tour guests an exclusive 15 percent discount on all items in the south end zone Pro Shop.
Public tours will be led by Jeff Fingland, the manager of the Champions Club for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Champions Club is a diverse group of fans from Northeast Florida dedicated to assisting the team as community ambassadors. A 20-year Jaguars season ticket member, Fingland is an original member of the Champions Club before becoming a full-time member of the front office. The resident storyteller on staff, Fingland brings decades of insider tales and firsthand accounts of the evolution of the facility and the legends that have taken the field.
