JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Area youth ready to take their football skills to the next level and have some summer fun can now register to participate in the Jaguars Football Academy camps in June and July. Three regional one-day camps are available in Palm Coast, St. Johns County and Brunswick prior to three-day camps in July at the Dream Finders Home Flex Field at Daily's Place.
Created and led by Jacksonville Jaguars Director of Player Development and Youth Football Marcus Pollard, a 14-year NFL tight end, Jaguars Football Academy camps will provide boys and girls ages 9 – 14 with a professional football training experience and valuable life skills. Pollard will be joined by expert coaches, Jaguars alumni and current players to lead campers through football fundamentals, speed and agility training, as well as their very own NFL Combine experience. All campers will receive exclusive Jaguars gear and have the opportunity to meet the team's cheerleading team, THE ROAR of the Jaguars, and the team's mascot, Jaxson de Ville.
"For our young Jaguars fans, football can become much more than a game. It can be a character building experience for boys and girls alike," said Pollard. "We want all our campers to walk away from this program with improved techniques in addition to an appreciation for the value of physical activity, hard work and sportsmanship."
Regional Camps
The Jaguars will first host a series of one-day regional camps at select locations around northeast Florida and, for the first time, southeast Georgia. All regional camps will take place on Saturdays in June from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Summer Camps
In July, the Jaguars Football Academy will host two three-day indoor summer camps at the Dream Finders Home Flex Field at Daily's Place. Camps will take place daily from 7:30 a.m. – noon and participants will be grouped by age. In addition to football fundamentals training, campers will learn techniques from USA Football's Heads Up Football program to encourage safety in practice and play.
