If smoke can be seen billowing out of Everbank Field, no one should be alarmed. The Jacksonville Jaguars today announced that Jacksonville-based and locally owned, Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q, has become the "Official Bar-B-Q of the Jaguars." As part of the new partnership, Bono's will sell its signature "Pit" style Bar-B-Q throughout EverBank Field at Jaguars home games beginning this season.
"The Jaguars are working hard to improve the fan experience at EverBank Field," said Hussain Naqi, Jaguars SVP of fan engagement. "Part of this experience includes having terrific food and beverage offerings for our fans. Football and Bar-B-Q go hand-in-hand, and we are delighted to partner with Jacksonville's hometown favorite, Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q."
Signature items at Jaguars games will include a variety of smoked BBQ sandwiches and southern side items, not to mention their award-winning sweet tea. Beyond EverBank Field, the Jaguars and Bono's will work together on unique in-store promotions which include Jaguars players and fans eating Bar-B-Q together.
