JACKSONVILLE – Jalen Ramsey will play Thursday.
Ramsey, the Jaguars' cornerback whose reported trade request has been the major news around the team this week, as expected will play against the Tennessee Titans at TIAA Bank Field Thursday at 8:20 p.m. Head Coach Doug Marrone had said Wednesday Ramsey would play in the game.
The two-time Pro Bowl cornerback was not among the team's seven inactive players announced an hour and a half before kickoff.
Cornerback A.J. Bouye is expected to play and start after missing this past Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans with a hip injury, and left tackle Cam Robinson is expected to play and start after missing the first two games with a hyperextended right knee. A.J. Cann is expected to start at right guard.
Wide receiver Marqise Lee also is expected to be active after being inactive last week with a knee issue, and swing tackle Cedric Ogbuehi is expected to be active after missing the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury.
Defensive end Yannick Ngakoue is expected to play and start after missing last week with a hamstring injury.
The Jaguars' seven inactives against Tennessee: wide receiver C.J. Board, cornerback Breon Borders, running back Devine Ozigbo, linebacker D.J. Alexander (hamstring), offensive lineman Brandon Thomas, tight end Josh Oliver (hamstring) and defensive tackle Dontavius Russell.
