ATLANTA – The question isn't who's out for the Jaguars in the 2016 preseason finale.
Rather, the question is, "Who's Playing?"
The answer is none of the starters, or at least no starter listed on the team's unofficial depth chart. Those 24 players were among the 28 players ruled out of the Jaguars' Preseason Week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome Thursday night.
Third-team quarterback Brandon Allen is listed as the starting quarterback, with Denard Robinson expected to start at running back.
Rookie Myles Jack is expected to start at weakside linebacker.
Quarterback Blake Bortles was among 14 offensive players ruled out for the game, with the others being wide receiver Allen Robinson, tight end Julius Thomas, left tackle Kelvin Beachum, left guard Luke Joeckel, center Brandon Linder, right guard A.J. Cann, right tackle Jermey Parnell, tight end Marcedes Lewis, wide receiver Allen Hurns, running backs T.J. Yeldon and Chris Ivory, wide receiver Marqise Lee and offensive tackle Josh Wells. All of the aforementioned are listed as starters except Wells and Lee.
Fourteen defensive players also were ruled out:
Leo Dante Fowler Jr., defensive tackle Malik Jackson, defensive tackle Roy Miller III, defensive end Jared Odrick, weakside linebacker Telvin Smith, middle linebacker Paul Posluszny, Otto linebacker Dan Skuta, cornerback Davon House, free safety Tashaun Gipson, strong safety Johnathan Cyprien and cornerbacks Prince Amukamara and Jalen Ramsey.
All of the aforementioned are listed as starters, with Leo Yannck Ngakoue and defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks also ruled out before the game.
