INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Sergio Brown won't play against his former team Sunday.
Brown, a safety who missed all three practices this week with a calf strain sustained against New England last week, was one of seven players declared inactive by the Jaguars 90 minutes before their game against Indianapolis Sunday. Brown signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent from the Colts this past offseason.
Also declared inactive Sunday: defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (knee), tight end Julius Thomas (hand), running back Denard Robinson (knee), right guard Brandon Linder (shoulder), wide receiver Marqise Lee (hamstring) and defensive end Chris Smith.
Marks, Thomas, Robinson, Linder and Lee were ruled out Friday while Brown was listed as doubtful on the Friday injury report. Smith was a healthy inactive.
