JACKSONVILLE – As expected, the Jaguars' defense will be without its leader Sunday.
Paul Posluszny, the Jaguars' starting middle linebacker and defensive captain, was among seven Jaguars players made inactive an hour and a half before kickoff of the team's game against the Indianapolis Colts Sunday. He had been ruled out with a fractured hand Friday.
Second-year veteran Jordan Tripp will start in his place.
Also on Sunday, defensive end Ryan Davis (knee), wide receiver Bryan Walters (back) and tight end Nic Jacobs were ruled out 90 minutes before kickoff. All had been listed as questionable on the final injury report of the week Friday.
Other Jaguars inactives: wide receiver Rashad Lawrence, cornerback Demetrius McCrary and center Luke Bowanko.
