JACKSONVILLE – Luke Joeckel will miss Sunday's game for the Jaguars.
Johnathan Cyprien will, too.
Neither absence was entirely unexpected, but both will force changes in the Jaguars' starting lineup against the Miami Dolphins at EverBank Field Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
Joeckel, the Jaguars' starting left tackle, will miss Sunday with an ankle injury sustained in last Sunday's regular-season opener against Carolina. He will be replaced in the lineup by six-year veteran Sam Young, who played in Joeckel's place after the first series of the second half last week.
Cyprien will miss Sunday's game with a calf injury sustained against Carolina. James Sample will start in his place at strong safety.
Also declared inactive for the Jaguars Sunday:
Defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (knee), defensive end Andre Branch (knee), tight end Julius Thomas (hand), running back Toby Gerhart (abdomen) and cornerback Dwayne Gratz (ankle). Demetrius McCray a starter last season, will play the third cornerback in place of Gratz.
Wide receiver Marqise Lee will play for the first time after missing the preseason and regular-season opener with a hamstring issue.
