EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Davon House will get the start at corner Sunday.
House, who has started six games this season for the Jaguars at cornerback opposite Aaron Colvin, rotated with Dwayne Gratz and Demetrius McCray during practice this week. He was named the starter 90 minutes before kickoff of the team's game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium Sunday.
House started the first six games of the season before Gratz started the team's pre-bye victory over the Buffalo Bills in London Week 7.
Also, running back Toby Gerhart will be inactive. He previously had been the Jaguars' short-yardage back.
As expected, Zane Beadles will be active and start at left guard for the Jaguars. Also as expected, wide receiver Marqise Lee will be among seven players inactive.
Beadles, who has started at left guard in the first seven games of the season, was listed as questionable on the Friday injury report with a foot injury. Safety James Sample, who also was questionable on the Friday injury report, also will be inactive.
Lee, who has missed five of the first seven games with a hamstring injury, was listed as doubtful on the injury report. His limited practice Friday was his first since he played in a Week 3 loss to New England.
