Blackmon seals victory with 'trifecta'
Cornerback Will Blackmon registered a sack/forced fumble/fumble recovery on Ryan Fitzpatrick with 2:39 remaining in the game and returned it 21 yards for a touchdown. It marked the first fumble return for a touchdown by the Jaguars since 2011 (Dec. 11 vs. Tampa Bay, Nate Collins).

Defense shines in win
The Jaguars forced a season-high four turnovers with one interception and three fumble recoveries. The three fumble recoveries tied for the third-most in team history and were the most since Dec. 11, 2004 against Tampa Bay (4). The Jaguars were credited with three forced fumbles.
The Jaguars held the Titans to three plays or less on seven of 15 drives and forced five punts. In eight first half possessions, the Jaguars held the Titans to three plays or less on five of the eight drives. The Titans were called for holding in the end zone in the fourth quarter which resulted in a safety, the second safety the Jaguars have forced through nine games.
The Titans finished with 83 rushing yards on 27 attempts, the fewest rushing yards by a Jaguars opponent through nine games. Pro Bowl running back Chris Johnson had 30 yards on 12 carries (2.5 avg.). The Jaguars held the Titans to only three plays of 20-plus yards, all via the pass, and they all came in the second half.

Jaguars get early score
The Jaguars scored on their opening drive for the first time this season as Maurice Jones-Drew scored from six yards out. It marked the second offensive touchdown in the first half for the Jaguars through nine games. In addition, the Jaguars scored first for the fourth time in nine games.
Points, Points, Points
The Jaguars scored a season-high 29 points on Sunday including three touchdowns (2 offensive, 1 defensive). The club did not eclipse 20 points in the first eight games.
First career interception for Dwayne Gratz
2013 third-round pick Dwayne Gratz picked off Titans quarterback Jake Locker in the second quarter, his first career interception. It marked the Jaguars' fourth interception this season.
79th career touchdown for Jones-Drew
Maurice Jones-Drew scored on a six-yard run on the club's opening drive, his 79th career touchdown and 66th via rush. Jones-Drew has a rushing touchdown in three straight games against Tennessee and six touchdowns in seven career games at LP Field.
Back-to-back 25-touch games for Jones-Drew
Maurice Jones-Drew registered 41 yards on 21 carries and added four receptions for 33 yards. It marked his second straight game with 25 touches and his 21 carries tied a season-high (Denver). The Jaguars improved to 22-13 in Jones-Drew's 35 career games with 20-plus carries.
Scobee remains perfect
Josh Scobee was successful on both his field goal attempts, hitting from 32 and 44 yards. Scobee is 12 of 12 on field goals through nine games and leads the team with 45 points including a season-high nine points against the Titans.
Posluszny wastes little time making "big play"
Linebacker Paul Posluszny forced a fumble by Titans running back Chris Johnson on the first play from scrimmage and recovered it for the Jaguars. Three plays later, the Jaguars scored on a Maurice Jones-Drew touchdown run.
It marked Posluszny's eighth career forced fumble, his first this season, and his second career fumble recovery. His only other fumble recovery came in 2008. He finished with eight tackles.
Second career TD for Todman; excels as kickoff returner
Running back Jordan Todman scored on a two-yard run in the third quarter. It marked Todman's second career touchdown with both coming in 2013. He had a three-yard touchdown run at Seattle in week three.
Todman averaged 33.0 yards on three kickoff returns including a season-long 46 yard return in the fourth quarter. He also had returns of 33 and 20 yards.
Allen registers fumble recovery for 2nd straight game
Linebacker Russell Allen recovered a Jake Locker fumble in the second quarter, his second straight game with a fumble recovery. The Jaguars finished with a season-high three fumble recoveries against the Titans.
Tidbits
- Linebacker Geno Hayes was credited with a game-high 11 tackles and had one pass defensed and one forced fumble.
- Safety Winston Guy had a season-high two special teams tackles.
- The Jaguars held the Titans without a first down until their fifth drive of the game.
- The Jaguars recorded their largest lead of the season, 13 points, and never trailed in the game.
- Quarterback Chad Henne finished 14 of 23 passing for 180 yards with two interceptions. He finished with six passes of 17-plus yards. Henne improved to 15-28 as a starter and became the fifth quarterback in franchise history to win at least two career games for the Jaguars.
- Tight end Marcedes Lewis had a season-high three catches for 39 yards with a long of 27.
