HOUSTON – Roy Miller's season ended a bit sooner than he wanted.
Miller, the Jaguars' veteran defensive tackle, will miss his second consecutive game when the Jaguars play the Houston Texans in the 2014 regular-season finale Sunday. He was ruled out 90 minutes before kickoff.
Miller also missed the Jaguars' game against the Tennessee Titans last week with a knee sprain sustained against the Baltimore Ravens November 14.
Also ruled inactive Sunday for the Jaguars were quarterback Stephen Morris, wide receiver Tommy Streeter, cornerback Jeremy Harris, safety Matt Daniels, guard Tyler Shatley and defensive end Chris Smith.
Defensive end Andre Branch will be active after missing seven of the last eight games with a groin injury. Wide receiver Cecil Shorts III (shoulder) and running back Toby Gerhart (ribs) also will be active after practicing limited this week.
