JACKSONVILLE – James Robinson is listed as the starting running back.
That's according to the Jaguars' unofficial depth chart published by the team's public relations department, which was released by the team Monday afternoon in advance of Sunday's 2020 regular-season opener against the Indianapolis Colts at TIAA Bank Field.
Robinson, who signed as a collegiate free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft, is listed as the starter on the depth chart ahead of second-year veteran Devine Ozigbo and eight-year veteran Chris Thompson.
All three are expected to play major roles with the Jaguars having waived two-time 1,000-yard rusher Leonard Fournette last Monday.
Other notable starters on the depth chart : fifth-year veteran Adam Gotsis at defensive end and fourth-year veteran Josh Jones at strong safety. The Jaguars traded defensive end Yannick Ngakoue to the Minnesota Vikings last Monday and traded safety Ronnie Harrison to the Cleveland Browns last Thursday.
