JACKSONVILLE – The game-day experience at EverBank Field just got more unique.

The Jaguars and the entertainment brand, "The Clevelander," on Friday afternoon announced the opening of the Clevelander Deck at EverBank Field, a location that will officially open when the Jaguars play host to the Indianapolis Colts in the 2014 regular-season home opener Sunday.

"We're trying to do something different, and dial up the fun level at EverBank Field – and do it in a way that's uniquely and genuinely North Florida and Jacksonville," Jaguars President Mark Lamping said Friday.

"We want to continue to add things to EverBank Field that give our fans entertainment options and another reason to leave home and come to the game."

The Clevelander Deck at EverBank Field will feature two spa pools overlooking the field from the north end zone, as well as the Clevelander's Famous Frozen all-natural drinks featuring the Mickey's Rum Runner (est 1987), the Cleve Colada and blend of them both in the Miami Vice.

The deck also will feature live entertainment including the Clevelander Dance team, DJ's and live music, as well as 20 full-service cabanas and a postgame party on the Clevelander Deck that will carry on two hours after every home game.

"We are excited to bring the people of Jacksonville the best party in football," Mike Palma, Executive Vice President of Hospitality – Clevelander, said. "Our combination of fun, friendly service, quality products and live entertainment make Clevelander a unique game day experience that fans cannot get anywhere else."

The new location is the latest in a series of upgrades to EverBank Field. In July the team unveiled approximately $63 million in enhancements, including new video displays, a new two-level plaza area and two video boards spanning 60 feet high and 362 feet long.

The partnership is a further extension of Clevelander's presence in the sports community. As of September 8, the daily ESPN2 sports discussion program Highly Questionable and ESPN Radio's The Dan Le Batard Show have new studio homes in Miami Beach's Clevelander Hotel.

The Clevelander in 2011 expanded to Marlins Park, home of the Miami Marlins. The venue there features luxury-stadium seating, a pool, and the same signature restaurant, bar and live entertainment that made the original location a South Beach landmark.

"We're thrilled they've chosen to partner with us," Lamping said. "They've done such a great job not only with their longstanding presence on South Beach, but they got into the sports arena at Marlins Park. The results have been very good and we're expecting a similar response here."

A Jaguars game ticket must be purchased to enter EverBank Field and the Clevelander Deck. General admission to the space is free during all Jaguars games.
