In support of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be selling a pink hat featuring the Breast Cancer Awareness pink ribbon and the Jaguars logo. The organization is asking fans to join them in the fight against breast cancer by purchasing and wearing these hats.
"Wayne and I are proud to partner with the Jaguars, our fans and community to support breast cancer research. Much has been accomplished but until the cause and cure are found, we must continue to support our local scientists at the work bench and clinicians at the bedside of their patients," said Delores Barr Weaver, Chair/CEO of the Jaguars Foundation. "I dream of a world without cancer and one day it will be so," she added.
Beginning at this Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and continuing through the remainder of the season, the hats will be available at JagWear stores on game day, as well as at all Football Fanatics locations and jaguars.com. The hats will sell for $20 and all net proceeds from the sales will benefit local breast cancer research efforts. In addition, the Weavers will match all net proceeds up to $50,000.
