JACKSONVILLE – Jaguars outside linebacker Josh Allen as expected will play Sunday.
Wide receiver Zay Jones, also as expected, will not.
Allen, listed as questionable with a shoulder injury on the final injury report of the week Friday, was not among the Jaguars' five inactive players announced 90 minutes before kickoff of their 2023 Week 3 game against the Houston Texans at EverBank Stadium Sunday. Defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi and safety Andrew Wingard, also listed as questionable Friday with shoulder injuries, also are active Sunday.
Jones – a starter in 17 of 18 games since joining the Jaguars – sustained a knee injury in a Week 2 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and was ruled out Friday along with rookie safety Antonio Johnson (hamstring), the latter of whom also was inactive in Weeks 1 and 2.
