They're back, and they're "pretty cool" according to Jaguars Head Equipment Manager and thousands of excited fans. On Thursday morning at 9:04 A.M., the Jaguars unveiled their Prowler Throwbacks - a uniform based on the original Prowler uniforms that were worn from 1995 through 2008, with some slight changes.
The pants feature a teal stripe with gold and black piping going along the lengths of the pants, while the jerseys feature a three-color number. The helmets feature the original Jaguars logo on the side used by the team from 1995 until 2013.
The announcement was revealed on social media in a 90s-themed video starring Andre Cisco, Tyson Campbell and Jaguars Legend Leon Searcy. The video's soundtrack is the fan-favorite song "Uh-Oh" made famous by the 1999 Jaguars team that produced a franchise record 14 regular season wins. Additional players including Trevor Lawrence, Evan Engram and Christian Kirk participated in a nostalgic photoshoot that was used to help kick off the beginning of an epic 30th season.
