Scobee player of the week

Jaguars placekicker Josh Scobee was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance last week in the Jaguars' 36-14 win against Buffalo. Scobee converted a career-best five field goals and tied the Jaguars' team record. The fourth-year veteran from Louisiana Tech connected from 46, 33, 22, 23 and 20 yards. He also converted all three extra point attempts for a career-best 18 points, which tied the third-most points in a game in Jaguars' history. He handled nine kickoffs with two touchbacks and limited Buffalo's Terrence McGee to only 18.6 yards a return.

Scobee returned to the lineup after missing eight games with a quadriceps injury. He has converted all seven of his field goals this season and has 28 points. This is his fourth AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award, and he joins Paul Spicer as the only two Jaguars to be honored this season.
