JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed OL Rashaad Coward, the club announced today. In addition, the team placed OL Brandon Linder on injured reserve.
Coward has played in 30 career games and made 15 starts. He spent training camp this season with the Steelers and was on their active roster from Weeks 1-4. From 2017-20, he played with the Bears and appeared in all 16 games in 2020, making three starts at guard and two starts at tackle. He started a career-high 10 games for Chicago in 2019, all at guard. He originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Bears in 2017.
The Brooklyn native attended Old Dominion and played 47 games as a defensive tackle posting 136 career tackles and 3.5 career sacks. As a senior in 2016, he started all 13 games and finished fourth on the Monarchs with 50 tackles.
Coward will wear No. 67 for the Jaguars.
