JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed offensive lineman Josh Wells, the team announced today.
Wells has played in 95 career games with 24 starts, including 39 games with nine starts for Jacksonville from 2014 to 2018. He originally signed with the Jaguars as a free agent in 2014. From 2019 to 2022, Wells played in 56 games for Tampa Bay, making 15 starts.
Wells played college football at James Madison University and was the recipient of the CAA Commissioner's Academic Award in his senior season.
Originally from Mechanicsville, Va., Wells was a four-year starter at quarterback for Hanover High School, where he threw for more than 4,000 yards and 28 touchdowns and ran for more than 900 yards and five rushing touchdowns.
