JACKSONVILLE –The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed DT DaVon Hamilton on the Reserve/Injured; Designated for Return List. Hamilton was originally placed on the Reserve/Injured list on August 31, 2023.
Hamilton has appeared in 44 games including 28 starts in his first three seasons in Jacksonville. The Pickerington, Ohio native has compiled 132 total tackles, 13 QB hits, nine tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in his career. The Jaguars originally selected Hamilton in the third round (73rd overall) of the 2020 Draft.
To be eligible for return, the player must have been placed on the applicable reserve list after 4:00 p.m., New York time, on or after the day following the League-wide roster reduction to 53 players. In 2023, the player must be placed on the applicable reserve list after 4:00 p.m., New York time, on Wednesday, August 30, or any date thereafter.
