The following are notes from the Jaguars' 30-26 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday.
• With his 20-yard touchdown pass to Keenan McCardell, quarterback Mark Brunell has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 11 consecutive performances, extending his team record.
• McCardell's seven pass receptions for 132 yards pushed him above the 1,000-yard mark for the season. McCardell and receiving mate Jimmy Smith became only the second tandem in NFL history to each reach 1,000 yards in receiving in the same season four times, sharing the NFL record with Minnesota's Jake Reed and Cris Carter.
• It was McCardell's 20th career 100-yard game; his 19th with the Jaguars and his second this season.
• McCardell has had at least one reception in 48 consecutive games, the second-longest streak in Jaguars history. Smith previously did it in 80 games.
• Stacey Mack reached the 100-yard mark in rushing for the third consecutive game. His 125 yards rushing against the Chiefs is a career high. His 54-yard run is also a career-best. Mack now has rushed for 811 yards this season, the fifth-best single-season total in Jaguars history.
• Hardy Nickerson's eight tackles made him the first player in Jaguars history to reach the 200-tackle figure in a season. Nickerson is 10 tackles shy of the career-best 214 he recorded in Tampa Bay in 1993.
• Tony Brackens has had at least one sack in a team-record eight consecutive games and has 11 sacks in 11 games played this season.
• The Jaguars' 431 total net yards is their most since totaling 469 against Arizona in Dec., 2000.
• It was the fifth consecutive game in which the Jaguars held their opponents under 100 yards rushing, and it was the Jaguars' 11th straight game without allowing a 100-yard rusher. Shawn Alexander rushed for 176 yards at Seattle on Oct. 7. He is the only player to rush for 100 yards against the Jaguars this season.
• The Jaguars were 3-5 at home this season, marking the first time since 1995 the team has been under .500 at home.
