The Jacksonville Jaguars today traded placekicker Seth Marler to the Dallas Cowboys for an undisclosed draft pick in 2006.
Marler, 24, spent the 2004 season with the Jaguars on injured reserve with a quadriceps injury. The 6-1, 200-pound placekicker converted 20 of 33 field goal attempts in his rookie season with the Jaguars in 2003 while connecting on all 30 extra points. He was originally signed out of Tulane as an undrafted rookie free agent by Jacksonville on April 30, 2003.
