Leftwich Rookie of the Week nominee

Jaguars quarterback Byron Leftwich has been nominated for the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week honors after his performance in last Sunday's victory over Houston. Leftwich completed 18 of 29 passes for 194 yards and one touchdown for a 93.2 passer rating in the Jaguars' 27-0 win. He connected with Jimmy Smith for a 32-yard touchdown in the first quarter. This is the fourth time he has been nominated this season.

Fans can vote at http://www.nfl.com/rookies/vote, and the winners will be announced Thursday.
