2025 Mock Draft Tracker, 7.0 | Defensive Tackle Remains Top Selection

Mock Draft Tracker 7.0

JACKSONVILLE – A little expected, and a little of the opposite.

This is the seventh jaguars.com 2025 mock draft tracker – and while one trend continued in a big way this week for the Jaguars at No. 5 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, there were also a few new storylines.

The "expected" trend was that most analysts continued to project University of Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham to the Jaguars at No. 5 overall, with six of 10 analysts in this week's tracker projecting him there.

"Mason Graham has the upside to not only being an elite run defender but also a productive pass rusher," Joe DeLeone of Pro Football Network wrote. "His ability to be extremely disruptive on a snap-to-snap basis will place him into an elite category of NFL defensive linemen."

NFL Media Draft analysts Daniel Jeremiah called Graham "a perfect marriage between need, talent and fit" for the Jaguars.

"Graham is one of the most consistent players in the class," Jeremiah wrote.

Anthony Pasciolla of Pro Football Network wrote that Graham "can not only help stuff running lanes but also has a respectable set of pass-rushing moves."

"Graham displays outrageous anchoring ability and a quick processor against the run, making him one of the most well-rounded interior defenders of the past decade," Justin Lewis of Pro Football Network wrote.

Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports projected Penn State edge defender Abdul Carter to the Jaguars at No. 5 overall.

"Carter is not Micah Parsons -- not yet, anyway -- but he's just scratching the surface on what he can do," Wilson wrote.

Gennaro Filice of NFL.com projected the Jaguars trading back to No. 7 overall and selecting Michigan cornerback Will Johnson. Other players projected to the Jaguars at No. 5 overall:South Carolina wide receiver Nick Emmanwori and Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter.

"He gives them a potentially elite cornerback pairing with Tyson Campbell," Wasserman wrote of Hunter.
