Jaguars Final Injury Report In Week 8 Leading To Positive Signs For Sunday

1025 Friday Update

JACKSONVILLE – Cam Robinson could play for the Jaguars Sunday.

Foyesade Oluokun could, too.

Robinson, the Jaguars' starting left tackle for eight seasons, has been cleared to practice and did so on a limited basis Thursday and Friday. He could be available to play when the Jaguars (2-5) play the Green Bay Packers (5-2) at EverBank Stadium Sunday.

"We'll see where he's at, but hopefully he's good [for Sunday],'' Jaguars Head Coach Doug Pederson said of Robinson Friday morning.

Robinson has started all seven games this season, as has the rest of the team's improving offensive line. Fourth-year veteran Walker Little played the 56 final snaps after Robinson sustained a concussion on the fifth play of a victory over the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium in London this past Sunday.

Oluokun, a starting inside linebacker who has been out since sustaining a foot injury in a Week 3 loss to the Buffalo Bills, "had a really good week" and is "trending in the right direction" to play Sunday.

Oluokun had his 21-day window to return to practice and return from injured reserve opened this week, and the Jaguars will need to activate him from injured reserve before Sunday for him to play against the Packers. He also was listed as questionable Friday.

"We're optimistic he'll be able to step in and play," Pederson said of Oluokun. "We'll see where he's at today, tomorrow."

Pederson said safety Andrew Wingard, on injured reserve since training camp with a knee injury, also "had a good week of preparation, good week of practice." Wingard also had his 21-day window to return to practice opened this week and the Jaguars must activate him from injured reserve before he can play.

"It's good for both those guys to get back out there," Pederson said of Wingard and Oluokun.

Travis Etienne Jr., the Jaguars' starting running back in the first six games of the season, practiced limited a third consecutive day with a hamstring injury and was listed as questionable Friday. Etienne missed the victory over the Patriots, with second-year veteran Tank Bigsby rushing for 118 yards and two touchdowns.

"Probably game time with him," Pederson said of Etienne.

NOTABLE

  • Rookie defensive tackle Maason Smith (ankle) and defensive tackle Esezi Otomewo (calf) – like Etienne, Robinson, Oluokun and Wingard – were listed as questionable Friday. Smith did not practice Friday and Otomewo practiced limited all three days this week. The other three players on the Jaguars' injury report this week – defensive lineman Arik Armstead (shoulder), wide receiver Gabe Davis (knee) and tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) – were listed without game status and are therefore expected to be available Sunday.
