Roster Moves: Jaguars Make Updates to The Practice Squad Ahead of Week 14

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have made the following roster moves, the team announced today:

  • Signed P Matt Haack, LS Tucker Addington and QB John Wolford to the practice squad
  • Released DE Joe Gaziano, CB Tyler Hall and OL Jerome Carvin from the practice squad

Haack originally signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft. Since then, he has appeared in 103 regular season games with Miami (2017-20), Buffalo (2021), Indianapolis (2022), Cleveland (2023) and the New York Giants (2024). Additionally, in 2023 he had a stint on Arizona's practice squad. Throughout his career he has totaled 453 punts with a net average of 39.7 yards per punt. 169 of his 453 total punts were recorded inside the 20-yard line and 26 of his punts resulted in a touchback.

Addington made his NFL debut in Week 16 of the 2022 season with New England. Most recently in 2024, he saw action in four games with Miami (three) and New England (one). Prior to 2024, he spent time with Washington (2023), Jacksonville (2023), New England (2022) and Dallas (2022). The New Braunfels, Texas native played collegiately at Sam Houston State University (2016-19) where he served as the teams' long snapper for four seasons.

Wolford originally signed with the New York Jets as a free agent in August 2018. Since then, he has appeared in seven games (four starts) for the Los Angeles Rams (2020-22) where he totaled 61 completions for 626 yards and one touchdown. Most recently, he spent the 2024 offseason and training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Jacksonville, Florida native played four seasons at Wake Forest (2014-17) and was named Second-Team All-ACC after setting program records in passer rating (158.0), passing yards (3,192), touchdown passes (29), total offense (3,975) and total touchdowns (39) during his senior season (2017). He attended Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville where he was named the Florida Times Union's Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for 3,317 yards and 38 passing touchdowns as a senior in 2013.
