John Henderson added to AFC Pro Bowl Roster

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle John Henderson has been added to the 2007 Pro Bowl, replacing Richard Seymour of the New England Patriots.

Henderson joins cornerback Rashean Mathis as the two Jaguars in the Pro Bowl. The Pro Bowl will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii on Saturday, February 10 and televised by CBS.

This will be Henderson's second trip to the Pro Bowl as he earned a spot in 2004. He becomes only the fifth player in franchise history to play in multiple Pro Bowls, joining offensive tackle Tony Boselli, quarterback Mark Brunell, wide receiver Jimmy Smith and defensive tackle Marcus Stroud.

Henderson ranked third on the team in 2006 with 3.5 sacks along with 64 tackles, six tackles for loss and 12 quarterback pressures. Henderson, the ninth overall pick in 2002, was the highest-drafted defensive lineman ever by the Jaguars. He ranks fifth in team history with 22 sacks in 90 games and has not missed a game in his four-year career.
