Jason Mitchell waived

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed first-year free agent wide receiver Kahlil Hill and waived rookie wide receiver Jason Mitchell.

Hill, 26, was originally drafted in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL draft by Atlanta. The 6-2, 200-pound wide receiver saw action in one game, returning four punts for 12 yards before being waived on Aug. 31, 2002. He was with San Francisco in the 2004 offseason.

Mitchell, 23, played in 26 games with Southern California after transferring from L.A. Harbor Junior College. The 6-0, 193-pounder caught 15 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. He was originally signed by the Jaguars on April 24 as an undrafted rookie free agent.
