The Jacksonville Jaguars waived five players this morning, reducing their roster to 85. Waived were two third-year players in wide receiver Tiquan Underwood and safety Michael Hamlin, second-year linebacker Slade Norris, and two first-year players in kicker Sam Swank and punter Brent Bowden.
NFL teams must reduce their rosters from the current limit of 90 to 80 by 4 p.m. next Tuesday. Final cuts to the 53-player limit will be on Saturday, September 3.
