For the first time, the Jacksonville Jaguars are offering a season ticket package for their fans that will cost only $100 - just $10 a game - and is the lowest cost for season tickets of any team in the NFL.
Two locations have been set aside for the new $100 price structure: the last four rows of the upper deck on the east side of ALLTEL Stadium, including an additional six rows of the Winn-Dixie Family Fun Zone.
"These are the most inexpensive season tickets in the NFL," said Bill Prescott, Jaguars vice president/chief finanacial officer. "We're being very inclusive - any fan in Jacksonville can now afford to come to a Jaguars home game."
Fans would still have to make a three-year commitment as a season-ticket holder, and the total due for the first year would be $168.10, which includes the ticket cost, sales tax, city surcharge and one-third of the $100 security deposit.
The $100 season tickets are available beginning 12:00 noon Saturday as part of the Jaguars' seventh-annual Budweiser "Draft Day Fan Fest" at ALLTEL Stadium (they are not available by phone until Monday, April 23). Admission is free. For more information, call (904) 633-2000.
