The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran free agent linebacker Jimmy McClain and waived rookie linebacker Jamar Enzor.
McClain is a third-year veteran who played in one game with the Jaguars in 2004 before being waived on Nov. 30, 2004. He spent the 2004 offseason in NFL Europe with the Scottish Claymores, where he tallied 55 tackles and two sacks. The 6-0, 235-pound linebacker has played in 24 career games with the Houston Texans after being signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2002. He will wear jersey No. 49.
Enzor, 23, was a two-year starter at middle linebacker for Cincinnati. In 47 career games, the 6-1, 237-pounder recorded 311 tackles and as a senior collected 73 tackles and three sacks. He was originally signed by the Jaguars on April 24 as an undrafted rookie free agent.
