Shad Khan, entering his fifth NFL season as the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, today joined and was also named chairperson of the league's Business Ventures Committee.
Khan, who became the owner of the Jaguars on January 4, 2012, is also joining the NFL Network Committee and will continue to serve on two other committees, Health and Safety as well as Finance.
Khan will cycle off the committees for the NFL Foundation, of which he was a charter member, as well as Investment.
"I am flattered to be called upon by Commissioner Goodell and the National Football League, and I am very honored to serve," Khan said. "The experience I've had as a team owner in Jacksonville has been fabulous, and one of the many benefits has been the opportunity to also serve the league overall at the committee level. I look forward to contributing to all four committees in any way that can make our game and league even better than it is today."
