Jaguars on the Giving End This Holiday Season

The Jaguars annual food distribution program, Operation Blessing, is a highly anticipated event held at A. Philip Randolph Park. On Tuesday, November 23rd from 2:00 pm – 4:00 p.m. the Jacksonville Jaguars will join with several corporate partners, hundreds of volunteers and other local organizations to assist more than 3,000 Eastside families who are in need during this holiday season.

Jaguars players, along with more than 250 Wachovia volunteers as well as volunteers from Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. will off-load truckloads of groceries and distribute non-perishable food items donated by growers, food processors and manufacturers that support Operation Blessing International, a national nonprofit humanitarian relief organization.

WHEN:  Tuesday, November 23rd

   2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

WHERE: A. Philip Randolph Park (from the stadium take A. Philip Randolph Blvd.

*     heading North to 1st Street.  The park will be on your left.*)

WHY:    To help those in need during the holiday season.  Only families with registration

  flyers are eligible to receive two free bags of mixed grocery products on a first-come, 

  first served basis while supplies last or until 4:00 p.m., whichever comes first.
