On November 14, 2020 the Jacksonville Jaguars and OneBlood teamed up once again for a life-saving blood drive at TIAA Bank Field. In true TEALgate fashion it was a day full of fun, music, food, and saving lives. The 3rd annual TEALgate blood drive was a win, with more than 300 donors visiting the Bank to contribute to the saving of over 950 lives!
The Jaguars events team and OneBlood staff worked diligently together to ensure a smooth and safe process for all of our donors and team members, from start to finish, following best practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Masks were required to be worn at all times and social distancing guidelines were practiced at all stations throughout the day.
As participants moved through the process and finished their life-saving donation, they were able to snap pictures at a photo booth, enjoy pizza as well as dessert courtesy of Bono's Bar-B-Q and were rewarded with a complimentary game ticket for an upcoming Jaguars home game and a Whataburger swag bag.
The Jacksonville Jaguars and OneBlood are looking forward to another great year in 2021 teaming up to continue to save lives!
