Roster Moves: Jaguars Add Two to Active Roster and Four to Practice Squad

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have made the following roster moves, the team announced today.

Signed to Active Roster

  • DL Tommy Togiai (TOE-ghee-eye)

Blackson was selected in the fourth round (100th overall) by Tennessee in the 2015 NFL Draft. Since then, he has played in 117 games and spent time with Houston, Arizona, and Chicago. Blackson has posted 98 tackles, 27 quarterback hits, 15 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, eight passes defensed, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

 The Bear, Delaware native played collegiately at Auburn University where he played in 52 games (2011-14). During his junior season (2013), he was a member of the team that competed in the BCS National Championship against Florida State University where he recorded his third career collegiate forced fumble.

Otomewo was selected in the fifth round (165th overall) by Minnesota in the 2022 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, he saw action in five games and recorded three tackles and one tackle for loss. The Indianapolis, Indiana native played collegiately at the University of Minnesota where he played in 46 games posting 81 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks.

Togiai was selected in the fourth round (132nd overall) by Cleveland in the 2021 NFL Draft. Since then, he has played in 18 games and has posted 12 tackles, 1.0 sack, and one fumble recovery. The Pocatello, Idaho native played collegiately at Ohio State University where he played in 33 games and was named Second-Team All-Big Ten in 2020.
