The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed rookie offensive tackle Daniel Baldridge to the active roster from the practice squad and placed rookie offensive tackle Kevin Haslam on injured reserve with a hand injury.  The Jaguars also added first-year offensive tackle Jonathan Palmer to the practice squad.

Baldridge, 6-8, 311, spent the first 13 weeks of this season on the Jaguars practice squad after signing as an undrafted rookie.  He played in all four preseason games and was waived on final cuts.  A native of Opelousas, La., Baldridge started 24 games in four seasons at Marshall and earned second-team All-Conference USA honors as a senior.  He was a standout basketball player at Opelousas High School and didn't play football until his senior season.

Palmer, 6-5, 338 was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by Philadelphia in 2007 and has also spent time with Pittsburgh, Carolina, Arizona, Cleveland and the New York Giants.  He spent part of the 2009 season on the Steelers and Cardinals practice squads.  He started 13 of 43 games at Auburn where he played three different positions (right guard, right tackle, center).  He is a native of Ellenwood, Georgia and attended Cedar Grove High School.

Haslam had played in five games this season and was inactive for seven.
